Thread Gauges
Thread gauges can be used to check whether the actual dimension is within the nominal dimension for internal and external threads. Thread measurement tests are often carried out on a random sample basis in series production.
On request, we can supply our gauges with a factory calibration certificate.
Thread plug gauges
Plug gauges made of high-quality special gauge steel for the measurement inspection of internal threads.
The thread profile of the GO side must be able to be screwed completely into the thread during testing. The No-GO side with its shortened thread profile may be screwed in with a maximum of two turns.
Thread ring gauges
External threads can be checked by using thread ring gauges. It must be possible to screw the full thread profile of the GO gauge completely onto the thread. It must not be possible to screw the No-GO gauge completely onto the thread. The ring gauges are made of high-quality special gauge steel to ensure long-lasting thread inspection.
